rajgiri je attay jo sheero

(Rajgiri Flour Halwa)

Serves – 4



Rajgiri Flour – 1 cup

Sugar – 1 ½ cup

Ghee – 1 tblsp.

Water – 3 cups

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp.


1.)    In a deep pan, heat ghee on a medium flame. When the ghee melts, add the rajgiri flour. Roast the flour continuously till it starts turning pale yellow in colour.

2.)    Add 3 cups of water to the flour.

3.)    Add sugar and cardamom powder and keep stirring till the sugar caramelizes and the mixture becomes thick in consistency. Rajgiri jay Atte jo Sheero is yellowish is colour.

To serve

Rajgiri jay Atte jo Sheero is an Igyas speciality and is served hot.
