Whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
Powdered Sugar – ¾ cup
Ghee – 2 tblsp.
Cardamom Powder – 2 gms.
Poppy seeds – 5 gms.
In a pan, heat ghee over a medium flame. When the ghee has melts, add whole-wheat flour.
Roast the flour till it turns chocolate brown in colour. Keep stirring constantly.
Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the roasted whole-wheat flour. Mix thoroughly and keep stirring.
Cook till the sugar caramelizes and is absorbed by the flour. The Churmo will be chocolate brown in colour.
Garnish with poppy seeds.
