(Milk Masala)


Cardamom – 1 cup
Mace – ½ cup
Nutmeg – 4 – 5 pieces
Saffron – 6- 7 strands


  1. Grind all the ingredients together in a mixer to a fine powder.
  2. Store in an airtight container and use as required. Tejano has a shelf life of 6 months. Although it lasts longer, it tends to lose its aroma after 6 months.

To serve

Tejano is used as a garnish for various sweets like Bhaat, Tikari etc.
