(Rice & Split Green Gram Mix)
Rice – 1 cup
Split green gram – 1 cup
Ghee – ½ tblsp.
Salt – to taste
Clean and wash the rice and the split green gram
In a toap, soak the rice and the split green gram in water together for 1 hour before the start of preparation.
In the same water, keep the rice and split green gram for cooking on a medium flame. Add salt.
When the rice and the split green gram have cooked, remove the excess water (if any) and place the toap on a tawa. Add ghee and lightly mix it. Allow the rice and lentil mixture to simmer for 6 – 7 minutes.
Serve piping hot.
